Darkness completely blankets the heavily fortified estate of a corrupt, wealthy merchant, where Yasuzu—a young female ninja—is currently held captive after enduring a severe operational nightmare. Under the chaotic influence of a supernatural curse known as the “Aura of Ogre,” the outpost guards have transformed into frenzied, monstrous Demi-Ogres, systematically dismantling Yasuzu’s defenses and breaking her proud warrior spirit. In the depths of her isolation, her only remaining hope rests on the arrival of her elite senior, Botan—a legendary operative whom she has long admired.
Right on cue, Botan infiltrates the stronghold. Utilizing her signature stealth technique, the Kagebunshin (Shadow Clone) jutto, she and two synchronized duplicates breach the perimeter, neutralizing the elite guards in a flash of tactical precision.
However, a highly sophisticated counter-strategy has already been laid out. When the ruthless merchant utilizes the completely compromised Yasuzu as the ultimate psychological bait, Botan suffers a fatal moment of distraction. Instantly, she and both of her shadow clones are completely surrounded and trapped by the overwhelming force of the Demi-Ogres.
