The tale begins with a heartwarming bond in the depths of an ancient forest, where Nowa, a gentle bear-man, discovers and adopts a stray pup named Airi. As the long hibernation draws near, Nowa’s only concern is Airi’s lingering dependence—worrying that the small creature is too clingy to survive on its own. Yet, time in the mystical woods moves with a silent, treacherous speed.
Months later, in the hazy twilight of his deep slumber, Nowa is jolted awake not by the cold, but by a searing, unfamiliar sensation coursing through his body. Before him stands no longer the frail puppy of his memory, but a fully matured Airi—possessing a captivating form and eyes that burn with an insatiable hunger.
As Airi leans in, his breath hot against Nowa’s ear, he whispers a chillingly sweet confession: “I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.” In that instant, Nowa realizes that while he dreamed, innocence had withered away, replaced by a fierce, possessive instinct.
